On this last day of 2008, here is a wish that you have lived a year with few regrets and many memories. May the new year leave you happy, healthy, and safe.
This blog contains pictures mainly from Troy, Bradford County, in Northcentral Pennsylvania. I hope you enjoy a look inside the beauty of rural Pennsylvania, as captured through the lens of my camera, The photography contained in this blog has been shot primarily with Canon dslr cameras. I currently have a Canon Digital 70D with a variety of Canon lenses. I also use a Fuji Finepix occasionally.

Why I Love Sonja
I helped bring Sonja into the world one Saturday afternoon in June. She was the last puppy born in the litter of 5, and was the runt. She was one of two tricolor beagles, the other three were lemon and white, like their mother, Melo (seen in the background). Sonja is just a goof ball. She barks when the others bark, just cause she can. She burrows under blankets, and jumps in your lap like she doesn't weigh 38 pounds. She eats voraciously, and looks at you with the sweetest brown eyes you have ever seen. Technically, she is Jason's dog, but she loves everybody unconditionally.

Keepsake Ornament
This ornament was given to one of the boys (actually they both have one, I just don't know which one this is) by their grandmother Bernita before she died. I can't believe we hung onto these toothpick ornaments for so long!
Santa Ornament
We actually have this ornament from our "first" Christmas in 1980. It's just a little plastic Santa, but it has withstood the tests of time!
