Fruit and Vegetable Still Life

With this photo, I earned third place in the Fruit and Vegetable Still Life Category at the Troy Fair. I borrowed the idea from my internet photography friend Deb, who created a wonderful photo of this type using apples. Thanks, Deb! The peppers were a bit of an afterthought after failing miserably at arranging vegetables in a basket.

This photo of Stef's arm and her horse Rosie's head won second place in the Black and White Shadow Category at the Troy Fair. I was thrilled to have it selected from so many great entries.

Actually, it's a shadow of the Real Thing. This is a shot I took as a potential entry for the Troy Fair. I opted to go with another one. The category was Black and White Shadows, but I'm kind of liking the sepia tone on this. I'll post the actual entry tomorrow.
