Roanoke Marsh Lighthouse

The Roanoke Marshes Lighthouse is a replica of the original lighthouse, which was used to guide ships through the channel. It is located on the Manteo waterfront on the east side of Roanoke Island.

Roanoke Island is the home of Sir Walter Raleigh's "Lost Colony", and it was home to the first English child born on American soil, Virginia Dare. You can read more about the history of Roanoke Island here.
