Me and My Shadow

Proof positive! These two are best friends...but only if nobody is watching!

Kobe

This is Kobe, the object of Miss Lily's affections. He has been with us for eleven years. Another prime example of "The Best Things in Life are Free". He came to school for kindergarten show and tell, and found a home, along with two of his brothers and sisters. This dog is the epitome of loyal - and he was very talented in his younger days. Now he is suffering from a degenerating hip, and his eyes are getting a bit cloudy. But every once in awhile he still has enough vigor to chase a squirrel across the yard. We love him.

Lily (The Queen)

The best things in life are free - she was given to us by a very good friend. She actually was born in a barn! This lovely cat puts up with three dogs, one of whom she has adopted as her best friend. She loves to snuggle, and she loves the sound of her cat food hitting the bowl.

Sonja and Melo

Sonja is actually the pup on the left, Melo the mom on the right. I helped the puppies into the world. We kept Sonja for Jason, since she was born while he was in a coma. She was the fifth puppy, a female, and tricolor. She is named for Jason - Sonja is Jason mixed up!

Lily and Melo

Not the greatest quality, but it has the cuteness factor! Lily and Melo are one day apart in age, and came to live with us one week apart, back in 2004.

Wynken, Blynken, and Nod

These precious little lambs were triplets. Stef and I watched them being born on a cold spring day. All three survived, the little one on the left was the last one born.
