with a cat who thinks she's a dog! This is how I found the crew on Saturday morning, having a bit of a rest.
This blog contains pictures mainly from Troy, Bradford County, in Northcentral Pennsylvania. Preen Like a Queen
A goose carefully grooming her (his?) feathers. I'm not sure how to tell a male from a female goose, but there must be a way!

Piggy Pile
Almost three years ago, we had five adorable beagle puppies join us. Here are three of them snuggled up together having a nap in their bed/pool. They were so much fun.

This old chair was on the porch of an antique store. I'm not sure if it is safe for sitting anymore, but it looks great for decorating.

Dandy Lions
Many people don't like dandelions, but they are the favorite flower of little children. Kids will keep busy picking them on the playground, so they can carry them in their little fists into their teachers. I think they are happy little "flowers", and the sight of them all over the place is joyful. Maybe we should all take a minute to look at things through the eyes of a child.

Back Yard Visitor
My husband called me outside and pointed out two deer who were in the woods at the edge of our yard. We slowly crept up on them, and managed to get a couple fairly decent shots before they snorted loudly and took off. I hope they keep out of the garden!

The Long Dusty Road

A typical dirt road in Bradford County, Pennsylvania. It is a big farming county, although, sadly, the number of farmers who can afford to stay in business is dwindling.

More Tulips
What can I say? These are among my favorites. Maybe because they are so fleeting in their existence.

A Tree Full of Blossoms
This was taken in downtown Troy, in front of the bank. Lovely white blossoms, which the bees were thoroughly enjoying!
