Fruit and Vegetable Still Life
With this photo, I earned third place in the Fruit and Vegetable Still Life Category at the Troy Fair. I borrowed the idea from my internet photography friend Deb, who created a wonderful photo of this type using apples. Thanks, Deb! The peppers were a bit of an afterthought after failing miserably at arranging vegetables in a basket.

Sepia Scenes # 41: The Real Thing
Visit more Sepia Scenes here!
Actually, it's a shadow of the Real Thing. This is a shot I took as a potential entry for the Troy Fair. I opted to go with another one. The category was Black and White Shadows, but I'm kind of liking the sepia tone on this. I'll post the actual entry tomorrow.

Sepia Scenes # 38: Chew Red Man Tobacco
A painted barn between Bradford and Lycoming Counties on Route 14 South. It is actually painted a bright yellow with red and black letters, and it sits in an extremely inconvenient and dangerous spot to get a good shot, without all the power lines. It was repainted several years ago by a high school student for a service project.

This is a bench along the sidewalk in front of the Ben Franklin store in Towanda, PA. Yes, there is still a five and dime in Towanda.
