Sepia Scenes #32: Covered Bridge
This covered bridge is located in Luthers Mills, Pennsylvania, which is located in Bradford County. It is also known as Knapp's Bridge, and is the highest covered bridge in Pennsylvania. Pennsylvania has over 200 covered bridges, located in 40 of the state's 67 counties. This bridge is open to traffic, and was originally built in 1853.

What a beauty! I do enjoy seeing covered bridges. In sepia, this feels like a step back in time!
My Sepia Scenes for this week is Lilac Time
What a beauty! The planking on the floor looks solid and that style is incomparable! Alas, in CT there are only three covered bridges left...
Lovely. Do they ever have weddings on the bridge? There is a covered bridge from the 1800's just about 45 minutes up the road from us and it's a very popular place for weddings.
I wish I could see a covered bridge in person. It reminds me of the movie with Meryl Streep. Fantastic shots. Love the dreamy feel of the second one.
I love covered bridges, I like the sepia tones.
My dream is to visit the East coast where I would explore the many covered bridges you have there. Wonderful in sepia of course.
My entry is here: http://ewok1993.wordpress.com
The bridge is historical already, it survived more than a century. Great shot!!!
